If you research 'infants and tv' you will see a lot of articles on why children under two shouldn't watch tv. I think it's a bunch of crap. I watched a decent amount of tv at that age bracket and turned out just fine! I also can credit Sesame Street for teaching me how to tie my shoes and how to count to ten in french. Mason doesn't watch a lot of tv, just about 1/2 hr each day when he's having a snack in his highchair. I turn the channel to the the cartoons for kids and he sits happily.
The other routine involving multimedia that Mason is involved in is YouTube. It is getting more difficult for Mason to sit down and drink a full bottle of formula as he's too busy crawling around and checking things out. So every day we have quiet time where I will sit at the computer, put on his playlist and he'll come crawling out of nowhere and reach up for my lap. He loves it!
I've spent quite a bit of time checking random video's out to create a playlist for Mason so we don't waste time searching for videos.
