Rockin' out at 9 weeks

Baby's first concert was Nine Inch Nails.   How cool is that! Unfortunately he couldnt hear much (ears don't work quite yet) but I'm sure he was bumpin' around to all the bass.  Clayton and I went up to Pemberton for the Pemberton Music Festival on Friday.  It was quite the adventure!

We heard it was a bit of a gong show getting to the main stage/camping area from the Airport (2km down the road) which was the first check in point.  No one told me you couldn't check in onsite so we drove too far and had to go back.  Once we got our wrist bands, we boarded a school bus that took us to the grounds.  There were a ton of people, food, porta-potties and stages around us.  We found a good camping site which wasn't too far from main stage but was far enough that we could get some sleep (or so we thought).  Once we tented up, we went straight to the music which was NiN playing.  It was a good concert, unfortunately we weren't too close to the stage and got to watch it from a giant screen.  All in all the weekend went well and I wasn't sick once (good baby!).  We got home yesterday evening and today (monday) I'm still catching up on laundry!  Clayton and I had our first pre-natal appt on Friday (before we left for Pemby) and unfortunately the doctor did not do a test so we could hear the heartbeat (guess he didn't have the right equipment) and he didn't think we'd be able to hear it anyhow which would have disappointed me.  So he offered an early ultrasound which has been booked for this Thursday.  I'll post the pics on Facebook soon as I get access to a scanner.  We will also found out the sex of the little one, if it's possible to tell.  Sooo exciting!

Well that's my lil update for now.
