It's beginning to look a lot like...

A very pregnant woman.  Okay  maybe that's not what you thought I'd say and yes Christmas isn't very far off but I never failed to be amused at the amount of people who ask me, "Are you pregnant? When are you due? How are you feeling? (I hate this question! I feel HUGE, I feel tired.).

I don't think I wrote last weekend as I didn't have much to write and I was utterly exhuasted.  It was my intention to clean the house, I can say that I spent a lot of time in bed resting.  As Mason continues to grow (I think he's at 3lbs now) he's squishing my organs and one of them must be my lungs.  Ugh.  His activity level continues to rise even though the space soon will be cramped, I am just getting used to feets kicks and punches by little fist as they are usually at opposite ends of the belly.  Some nights you think he's having a party in utero as my belly shakes and is poked from the inside.  I don't always feel the kicks but the movement is very entertaining.

I am very glad we had the 3D ultrasound session and I love to hear the positive comments from friends and family on how clear his pictures turned out and how cute he is :) I continue to see 'bad' 3D pictures and feel sorry for the parents who parade around with a foto of their little squished alien.  Having seen such a clear pic and having already named him has made him an instant part of our family and makes me 'miss' him more and drone on to Clayton on how I wish he was here already (yes I know, don't wish the time away).  From the comments of my friends with toddlers, I often get teased about the 'last stretch' and how I'm going to be sooooo tired and bored in my last weeks.  Oh joy.

This weekend was spent crossing more items off the ol to do list which mostly contained Christmas presents.  Shopping in Vancouver is crazy pretty much any time of the year so I was a bit hesitant of heading out on a Sunday but was pleasantly surprised to see a not-s0 busy mall!  We hit London Drugs, Staples, Toys R Us, and Petcetera and came out unscathed (and with some pretty freakin' cool gifts).  I would like to say we finished all of our shopping but unfortunately we have not.  Oh well, a few trips out in the evenings will do it!  I even bought a (early) prezzie for myself - a Snoogle.[gallery]

Which is a crazy pregnancy pillow which I so desperately needed!  And I also bought Linux (the kitty) a new kitty bed!  I was so happy to see that she jumped right in and had a little cat nap :)

The weather is getting mighty cold out and I'm really glad our building and work building has underground parking :) I can't stand the cold which is why I didn't last long in Alberta ;).

Looking forward to another work week that will zoom by and then off to the Island next week for a great holiday visit.

Happy Holidays to all!
