Getting to know Mason

Sometimes I really do feel like a stork dropped off this beautiful little baby I call my Son.  I was present for the birth lol and remember most of it (cept for sleeping after the epidural) but the whole experience is still so amazing that it's hard to believe it's real!  When Mason was first born, I didn't see much of 'myself' in his face/features, especially from every person who gazed upon my son would say "Oh my goodness, he looks soooo much like Clayton".  But now that's he's almost a month (A month!) old, I am starting to see more of me in him.  His eyes and nose look like mine when I was a wee one, the way he frowns when he sleeps (such a Weir trait).  Mason is a great communicator and really lets us know when he wants something which is the 'hold me, burp me, feed me and change me' cries.  The cries are quite funny, almost comic like as they sound like someone imitating a baby cry 'a-wah, a-wah' hehe.  However when he's really in distress his cry vibrates and his little face goes beet red.  Poor little muffin.  Mason loves to sleep with his hands/arms near his face or his arms on either side (straight up) by his head (almost like he's been caught in a bank robbery - hands up!).  He also makes a lot of cooing noises when he sleeps which often makes anyone giggle.  He does not like to be naked or cold (esp. with the wet wipes!) and will start to wail to let u know to hurry up!  Tummy time isn't quite a favorite yet, but he does try to hold his head up and look around when he's held up (opposed to cradle).
