Back from the Babymoon

Definition of "Babymoon"... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babymoon

I thought this was a silly term until I heard it especially since it is somewhat related to "honeymoon" which is taken after the wedding.  In our case, no matter how you look at it, it was a vacation!

So since my last post...

  • The books were read...okay leafed through.  The only one I really enjoyed was " " which I am going to have to sign out again or buy because it contained a lot of great info

  • The stroller is set up and looks out of place without a baby in it! I'm surprised the cat hasn't taken a nap in the basket

  • The car seat went back to the store for a full credit but now I am reading more on carriers, it may have been our best interst to keep it!

  • Our dining room table was set up by Clayton's Mom while we were in Mexico (Thank you Ginny!) and looks lovely :)

  • We spent 7 relaxing days in Puerto Vallarta doing absolutely nothing and I can say I'm glad to be back but this temperature adjustment leaves much less to be desiredJodes & Bumpy

  • Ah yes, the vacation.  This is my 4th all inclusive resort stay in 6 years.  I have been lucky enough to vacation in Jamaica, Dominican Republic & Puerto Vallarta in the past.  It was Clayton's first time however I felt I briefed him well in advance on what to expect.  The unfortunate part was while the weather was great, the company amazing and the 'do nothing' part was done, the resort was lacking a lot of basic amenities.  We stayed at the Royal Decameron for those of you who want to heed my advice.  http://www.decameron.com/Eng/mexico/puerto_vallarta/overview.html

I originally wanted to stay at the Palladium which is rated very high and I have had many friends stay there over the years with ZERO complaints.  Unfortunately they were renovating at the time we were in Mexico which is why I opted for a different resort.  http://www.si-mexico.com/hotels/puerto_vallarta/palladium_vallarta.htm

Anyhow we are now back home and getting back into normal life mode which includes cleaning house, buying more baby stuff and preparing for Christmas.  (sigh) it never ends, does it?

    Until next week....
