So tomorrow is Clayton and my first prenatal education class at BC Women's hospital. I almost thought it was too early for the classes but then I read the topics:
Stage 1 - Pre class Questionnaire
Warning signs in pregnancy
Birth as a beginning
Breast Feeding
Communicating during difficult times
Coping with change
Donor milk
Informed, Shared, Decision Making
Life before birth
Lifestyle assessment questionnaire
Midwifery care
Personally I'd rename name a few of them to:
Why pregnant women don't want sex and how men should cope with this fact
I hate food, how to survive on liquids
What's a birth plan?
Cord Blood bank - is it necessary?
How to stop people from giving you useless advice
Why asking 'was it planned' is rude and how to handle the retards that ask it
Decent baby names, how to choose without breaking up
Anyhow, I'm looking forward to a bit more insight of this journey as I think I've read every pregnancy written in the last decade.
Other than that, nothing too exciting going on since last post. Next u/s is in a few weeks, not sure as I forgot to book another appointment (oopsie).
Til next time..
