As Mason learns new games at school I am sure to hear a request to play them at home. This morning he decides we should play Hide & Seek. Our home is only one floor but is quite spacious and there are a few spots to hide. However within a few mins of the game, I realize that Mason has his own rules and as I chuckle to myself, I figure I should write them down so I can tell this story to him when he is older.
How Mason plays:
- Mommy is to count ( to no specified number)
- Mason hides, under the covers in Mommy's bed...every time
- Giggling ensues every time I get close to his wiggling 'hiding spot'
- Telling Mommy where Mason is hiding is mandatory
- Mommy rarely hides but cleans up the house instead
