Things I didn't know [about babies etc] before I became a Mommy
- I thought milk came out of one hole in the middle of each nipple.
- What projectile vomit looks like.
- How I would have no problem wiping mucous, drool or bits of food from my kids face with my bare hand!
- That I might not get a full nights rest ever again!
- How breastfeeding would feel (obviously) and that big boobs did not = lots of milk.
- That washing clothes would be a daily occurrence.
- That babies of 10 months have TONS of personality! What a riot!
- How competitive parents can be! No seriously, MY kid is the smartest. Did you hear what he did yesterday???
- How expensive baby food can be, especially formula! Stupid defective boobs!
- How hard it is to avoid baby clothing/accessory stores! Everything screams, "Buy me! Buy me!"
- How quickly the 'toy box' piles up. What was a few key toys is now an entire corner of the living room full off evil things that beep, sing and move.
- That in a blink of an eye after giving birth you will be planning baby's first bday. How did that happen?
- That giving birth is a huge deal and your body may not ever be the same again. On a good note, I've permanently lost 7lbs (so far) since Mason's arrival.
- How happy your baby will make everyone around him/her. Babies are smile inducers!!
- How much I was going to enjoy being a Mommy and feel blessed that I have a healthy, happy child.
